Dr. Vandana received her Ph.D. at the 40th Convocation of Bharathiar University, conferred by the Honorable Governor of Tamil Nadu Dr. R.N Ravi at Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore

Dr Vandana successfully defended her thesis, “ Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Anti-Cancer Active 8-Nitroquinoline Based Heterocyclic Systems” on 12 December 2024.

Her research in synthetic organic chemistry led to the development of novel compounds showing remarkable anticancer activity against lung and cervical cancer cells, earning wide appreciation from experts.
She has 12 publications in reputed international journals.

Dr Vandana is Daughter of Mr. P. R. Nandakumar (Padinjare Pisharam, Triprayar) and Mrs. K. P. Savithri (Kuthanoor Dakshinamoorthi Pisharam)

Husband : Mr. Ajay M. P. (Mundayil Pisharam)

She is currently Guest Faculty at Sree Sankara College, Mattoor. Kalady.
