What sets Santhosh apart is his expressive rendering, precision in pronunciation, depth in voice, and adherence to the authentic traditions of Kathakali music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He trained in Kathakali music under renowned gurus such as <strong>Kalamandalam Madambi Subramanian Namboodiri<\/strong>, <strong>Kottakkal Narayanan<\/strong>, <strong>Kottakkal Madhu<\/strong>, <strong>Kottakkal Suresh<\/strong>, and <strong>Vengeri Narayanan<\/strong>. His formal music education was completed at <strong>Kalamandalam<\/strong> and <strong>Kottakkal P.S.V. Natyasangham<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Santhosh also mastered <strong>Ashtapadi<\/strong> from <strong>Guruvayur Janardanan Nedungadi<\/strong>, and <strong>Carnatic music<\/strong> from <strong>Kalamandalam Sreedharan Namboodiri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sreekrishna Memorial Award<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Venkidakrishna Bhagavathar Memorial Award<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kalamandalam Unnikrishna Kurup Memorial Award<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kalamandalam Sankaran Embranthiri Memorial Award<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Junior Fellowship from the Central Sangeet Natak Akademi<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>K.V. Kochaniyan Award (2023)<\/strong> by Tripunithura Kathakali Kendram<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Unnikrishnan Memorial Award<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>FACT Padmanabhan Shashtipoorthi Award<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>LSV Foundation Young Vocalist Award (2024)<\/strong> by Thrissur Kathakali Club<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Santhosh is currently a teacher at <strong>Kottakkal P.S.V. Natyasangham<\/strong>. He is the son of <strong>Karakkurissi Pisharath Narayana Pisharody<\/strong> and <strong>G.P. Vasanthakumari<\/strong>.
