He currently serves as the <strong>Vice Chancellor<\/strong> of <strong>Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (D.C.R.U.S.T.)<\/strong>, a Haryana State Government Science &amp; Technology University located in Murthal, Haryana. He has also previously served as the <strong>Vice Chancellor of Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya<\/strong>, the first women\u2019s university in North India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>2020<\/strong>, Prof. Rajendrakumar was honoured with the rank of <strong>Honorary Colonel<\/strong> by the Government of India and appointed as the <strong>Colonel Commandant in the National Cadet Corps (NCC), Haryana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is globally renowned for being the <strong>first Asian recipient<\/strong> of the <strong>\u201cExcellence in Print\u201d Award<\/strong>\u2014widely considered the <strong>Oscar of Printing<\/strong>\u2014awarded by the <strong>Printing Industries of America<\/strong> in <strong>Chicago (2011)<\/strong> for his outstanding contributions to the global graphic arts industry. In <strong>2013<\/strong>, he was conferred the <strong>\u201cSamman Award\u201d<\/strong> by the <strong>All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP)<\/strong> during its Diamond Jubilee celebrations, presented by <strong>Dr. K. Rosaiah<\/strong>, then Governor of Tamil Nadu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A proponent of the <strong>\u201cNew Industrial Convergence Theory\u201d<\/strong>, he has travelled extensively across the globe for academic collaborations, research, seminars, and institutional tie-ups. He has served as <strong>Director of the Technological Institute of Textiles and Sciences (TIT&amp;S)<\/strong> in Bhiwani, Haryana, and is a highly reputed academician in the field of <strong>Print and Media Technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His global academic affiliations include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Visiting Scholar\/Professor<\/strong> at <strong>Technic University, Chemnitz<\/strong> and <strong>Zagreb University, Croatia<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conferred <strong>International Membership<\/strong> by the <strong>Croatian Academy of Engineering<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recipient of the <strong>\u201cSilver Medal\u201d<\/strong> from the <strong>Society of Dyers &amp; Colourists (UK)<\/strong> in <strong>2015<\/strong> for outstanding global contributions in graphic arts education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visiting professor and approved <strong>Ph.D. guide<\/strong> at several Indian universities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prof. Rajendrakumar is also actively associated with the <strong>Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS)<\/strong> under <strong>TC 130<\/strong>, contributing to the development of standards for the Indian printing industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Personal Background<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prof. Dr. Anayath Rajendrakumar hails from the renowned <strong>Anayath Pisharam<\/strong>, a culturally rich Pisharody family in <strong>Thiruvegappura<\/strong>, a scenic village on the banks of the <strong>river Thutha<\/strong> in Kerala.
