Born on <strong>15th November 1948<\/strong> to <strong>Manjaloor Pisharath Narayana Pisharody<\/strong> and <strong>Kodumudi Cherat Pisharath Sridevi Pisharasiar<\/strong>, he inherited his passion for rhythm from his father, who was his first guru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the age of 19, he began formal training in <em>Chenda<\/em> under the legendary <strong>Pallavur Kunjukutta Marar<\/strong>. He performed his <em>Arangettam<\/em> in <strong>1969<\/strong> at the <strong>Sri Thrippallavur Temple<\/strong>, marking the beginning of an illustrious musical journey.
