The film earned him the prestigious <strong>Gollapudi Srinivas National Award for Best Debut Director<\/strong> and also received the <strong>P. Bhaskaran Award<\/strong> for Best Feature Film of the year. <em>Melvilasam<\/em> further garnered international acclaim by being featured at the <strong>16th Busan International Film Festival<\/strong> in South Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His second film, <em>Apothecary<\/em>, critically explored the ethical dimensions of the medical profession and was widely appreciated for its sensitive and realistic portrayal. In 2019, he directed <em>Ilayaraja<\/em>, which was released in March of that year. His latest project, <em>Azhi<\/em>, is currently under production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Born in <strong>1975<\/strong>, Madhav Ramdasan began his creative career making <strong>advertisement films and documentaries<\/strong>.
