Ramesh Pisharody<\/strong> is a well-known Malayalam film actor, director, television anchor, and stage performer, celebrated for his unique flair in mimicry and comedy. With a career spanning over two decades, he has firmly established himself as one of Kerala\u2019s most versatile entertainers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born on 1st October 1981<\/strong> at Newsprint Nagar in Kottayam district, Ramesh is the youngest child of Cherukunnu Thekke Veedu Balakrishna Pisharody<\/strong> and Rema B Pisharody<\/strong> (of Dakshinamoorthi Pisharam, Kuthannoor). He has four elder siblings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His early education began at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Velloor<\/strong>, where he first showcased his mimicry skills by imitating a dog\u2019s bark in a school drama. To enjoy Saturdays off, he later moved to a Malayalam-medium school from third grade onward, where he continued to actively participate in mimicry competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After winning second prize at a youth festival under Mahatma Gandhi University<\/strong>, Ramesh began receiving invitations for stage performances. In 2000<\/strong>, he joined the Cochin Stallions<\/strong>, a mimicry troupe led by actor Salim Kumar, where he worked for four years. He also completed his graduation in Politics<\/strong> from Dewaswom Board College, Thalayolaparambu<\/strong> during this time. Later, he collaborated with mimicry artist Sajan Palluruthi<\/strong>, and the duo performed extensively on various stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Film and Television Career<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ramesh began his film career with a minor role in Nasrani<\/em> (2007), followed by a more prominent role in Positive<\/em> (2008). He gained recognition through notable roles in films such as Kappal Muthalaali<\/em> (2009), Celluloid<\/em> (2013), Left Right Left<\/em> (2013), Immanuel<\/em>, Amar Akbar Anthony<\/em>, and To Noora with Love<\/em> (2014), where he played a negative character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He rose to television fame with the hit comedy show Badai Bungalow<\/strong> on Asianet<\/strong>, co-hosted with actor Mukesh<\/strong> and featuring Dharmajan Bolgatty. The show ran successfully for five years, further enhancing his popularity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018<\/strong>, Pisharody made his directorial debut with the comedy-drama Panchavarnathatha<\/em>, starring Jayaram and Kunchacko Boban, which received positive reviews and was a box office success. His second directorial venture, Ganagandharvan<\/em>, featured superstar Mammootty<\/strong> in the lead role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
