Born in 1725, he resided at <strong>Andam Pisharam<\/strong>, near the sacred <strong>Kallekkulangara Bhagavathi Kshetram<\/strong> at Akathara in Palakkad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pisharody received his early education under the tutelage of his elder brother and guru, <strong>Krishna Pisharody<\/strong>. Eventually, he established his own school, where he mentored many distinguished disciples, including the renowned <strong>Kudiyamkulathu Shuppu Menon<\/strong>. In recognition of his erudition and influence, locals affectionately referred to him as <strong>&#8220;Manaloor Ezhuthachchan&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A polymath, Raghava Pisharody served as a court scholar to <strong>Ittikombiyachchan<\/strong>, the ruler of Palakkad. With his profound knowledge in <strong>astronomy<\/strong> and <strong>architecture<\/strong>, he was entrusted with identifying a suitable location for a fort \u2014 a task that led to the establishment of the present-day <strong>Palakkad Fort<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, following the succession of <strong>Ittipongiyachchan<\/strong>, Pisharody was compelled to seek asylum in the kingdom of Kochi under <strong>Veerakerala Varma<\/strong>. It was during this period of exile in <strong>Thrippunithura<\/strong> that he is believed to have composed his magnum opus, <em>Ravanolbhavam<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apart from this renowned work, Raghava Pisharody authored several other literary masterpieces, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sethu Mahatmyam<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vethaalacharitham<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Panchathantram<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The legacy of Kallekkulangara Raghava Pisharody lives on through his timeless contributions to Malayalam literature, as acknowledged by historian <strong>Ulloor S.
