Manavedan Raja is celebrated for conceiving <em>Krishnanattam<\/em>, the classical Sanskrit dance-drama based on the poetic work <em>Krishnageethi<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The esteemed Malayalam poet and historian Mahakavi Ulloor S. Parameswara Iyer references this scholarly relationship in <em>Kerala Sahithya Charithram<\/em> (Chapter 33). Furthermore, Manavedan Raja himself acknowledges his guru, Anayath Krishna Pisharody, in his literary work <em>Poorvabharatha Champu<\/em>.
