He was the son of <strong>Mannarkad Govindapurathu Bharatha Pisharody<\/strong> and <strong>Kizhakke Pisharath Madhavikutty Pisharassiar<\/strong>. Under the tutelage of legendary gurus&nbsp;<strong>Vasu Nedungadi<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Gopala Kurup<\/strong>, he underwent rigorous training for eight years, mastering the intricate vocal techniques and emotive expressions essential to Kathakali music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon completion of his training, Gopala Pisharody was appointed as a&nbsp;<strong>teacher at PSV Natyasangham<\/strong>, where he served with dedication for nearly&nbsp;<strong>29 years<\/strong>.
