Pisharody Pilgrimage & Tourism Development Trust
PP&TDT was established in 2002 as a Silver Jubilee project of the Pisharody Samajam, functioning as a dedicated sub-unit focusing on pilgrimage and tourism development for the Pisharody community.
The Trust’s founding leaders were:
- President: (Late) T. Bharatha Pisharody, Kodakara Unit
- Secretary: (Late) A.P.C. Pisharody, Thrissur Unit
First Major Project: Guest House at Guruvayur
The flagship initiative of PP&TDT is the Pisharody Samajam Guest House, located just south of the Guruvayur Temple, close to the Private Bus Stand and Railway Station.

Membership & Benefits
Eligibility:
- Life Membership is open to Pisharody Samajam members and their minor children.
Current Membership Fee: ₹3,000 (Initially ₹1,000)
Member Privileges:
- 25% discount on room rent (Membership Card must be presented at check-in)
- Voting rights to elect or be elected as Board of Trustee member
- Dividends (once the Trust starts generating profit)
Note: Members who haven’t received their Membership Card may contact their unit secretaries or Trust Secretary.
Special Schemes
OYR Scheme (Own Your Room)
A recently introduced option allowing members to contribute and enjoy annual benefits:
- ₹10,000 Contribution: 1 Day Stay in AC Room annually
- ₹5,000 Contribution: 1 Day Stay in Non-AC Room annually
