“Being an artist isn’t something you learn – it’s something you’re born into.”
From a very young age, Sowmya Balagopal has expressed her inner world through the language of art—a journey that continues to inspire audiences today.
Though she began her professional career as a lawyer under Adv. Unniraj at the Kerala High Court, her true calling in the arts eventually led her to devote herself fully to the world of classical dance and performance.
Today, Sowmya is a renowned classical dancer, respected dance teacher, and the founder of the dance academy “Natyakalpa.”
