Peruvanam Gopalakrishnan is a distinguished performer in Panchari and Pandi Melams. He is a prominent presence in major temple festivals across Kerala, including the renowned Thrissur Pooram and Arattupuzha Pooram.
He is the son of the late Peruvanam Thekke Pisharath Rama Pisharody and Thippallur Pisharath Lakshmikutty Pisharasyar. His brothers are Mukundan, Peruvanam Murali, and Peruvanam Prakasan.
He has received numerous honors, including the Rajat Shankh (Silver Conch) from Mumbai Keli.
