Arun G. Raghavan is a well-known Malayalam television and film actor who rose to prominence through his impactful performances in various serials and movies. He began his acting journey in 2014 with the television serial Saubhagyavathi on Surya TV.
Over the years, Arun has gained popularity through significant roles in several Malayalam serials including Bharya, Pookkalam Varavayi, Anamika, Kana Kanmani, Sthreepadham, Chembarathi, Mrs. Hitler, Pranayavarnangal, Ente Maathavu, Manjil Virinja Poovu, Mangalyam, Mayamayuram, Constable Manju, Mahalakshmi, and Meenu’s Kitchen. His performance in the movie Malikappuram, where he played Apathbandhavan Ayyappan, was especially well-received.
Arun made his film debut with Vilakkumaram (2017), directed by Vijay Menon. He was also featured in the Malayalam short film Blade.
Before venturing into acting full-time, Arun pursued a career in the IT industry. He worked as a system engineer and held positions at CMS Infosys Pvt Ltd, Concentrix, Endosoft Solutions, and Wintel L3.
He completed his schooling at St. Joseph School, Anandapuram, and graduated from St. Thomas College, Thrissur.
Arun is the son of renowned director and photographer Rajan Sithara. He is married to Divya, and the couple is blessed with a son named Dhruv and a daughter.
In 2020, Arun received the Best Actor Award from the Sathyajit Roy Film Society, Thiruvananthapuram, for his remarkable portrayal of nine different characters in the serial Bharya (Asianet).
